I was an SU London student in 1976 when all this was happening. Quite fun watching the “Establishment” get all up in arms about the Sex Pistols and the Clash.

When I see young people today dressed as “Punkers” with their mohawks, I think “Wow, I saw all this in 1976. Why be so retro? It’s 2011. Come up with something new.” Grin.
